Debut full-length by this extraordinary project spawned from the mystical depths of the Elemental Cavern.

Following to the absolutely brilliant "Blood Cries with Sorrow" demo tape, one of the best demos of this year, Matru-Zebu is now back to haunt and intoxicate with cursed myrrh and psychotropic incense those who dare enter the temple.

Close to 37 minutes of entrancing shamanism, carried via moments of mid-paced old school-tinged Black/Death that often feels like moments of Bestial Summoning, Samael, Sarcofago or Mortuary Drape mixed in a cauldron of Nordic plants, amanita and rotting soil and regurgitated as ritual.

Something definitely along the lines of Kêres but that feels even more ancient and carnal.
